About Us

Français.ie has been set up by Arnaud and Nicolas Bongrand.

Arnaud is a qualified secondary school teacher who has been teaching French in Ireland for the past twelve years. After working in The Alliance Française of Dublin, he currently teaches French in The Institute of Education, Dublin, as well as the Civil Service Language Centre, Dublin. He has worked as a Department of Education oral examiner for the Leaving Certificate.

Arnaud is also the co-author of the Leaving Certificate Higher level textbook, Mosaïque, published by the Educational Company of Ireland, and is the editor of the Junior Certificate Exam Brief for the Irish Independent.

Nicolas Bongrand is a French teacher who graduated in France and England. He has been teaching French for 15 years and has been an Examiner for the Deprtment of Education for the last 6 years (oral and written papers).

He currently teaches at Castleknock College, Dublin 15.
